Qualifications

As a HGV Driver (Class 2), you will be expected to:

• Check and maintain the vehicle daily, keeping oil levels correct and reporting findings.
• Keep the vehicle clean and tidy.
• Be flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned such as working in the yard/transfer station and helping load skips with debris
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law.
• Take part in any training required and to adhere to procedures, method statements, toolbox talks, site instructions and disciplinary procedures.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor or manager and to perform routine preventative maintenance on plant machines and equipment.
• Ensure all PPE equipment issued is always accounted for and kept safe and secure and to use/wear and apply all PPE issued by Carroll Waste.
• Meet appraisal targets and support the delivery and achievement of overall business objectives.
