About the role

We have exciting opportunities at RDC2 Haydock for Class 1 Drivers, working either:

• 45 hours over 5 days (any 5 days from 7)
• Part-time hours available if preferred
• Flexible start times, to be discussed at interview
• Weekend shifts included, with weekend premium pay

Responsibilities

Delivering caged goods on time to customers within the site area and network.
Loading and tipping vehicles at customer locations through manual handling.
Collecting backloads from third-party suppliers when required.
Performing multi-drop deliveries.
Driving and operating Class 2 vehicles when needed.
Communicating effectively with site and external customers.
Ensuring compliance with Drivers Hours and WTD regulations.
Maintaining fleet cleanliness and reporting vehicle defects.

Requirements

LGV 1 Licence.
Experience with digital tachograph.
Knowledge of geography.
Operation of Tail Lifts and refrigerated units (training can be provided).
Driver CPC qualification; ongoing annual training provided.
Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.
