Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting experienced Class 2 drivers in St Albans to support a global logistics client. The role is temporary with the possibility of permanence and starts immediately with on-site training.

Duties include multi-drop deliveries in London and surroundings, securing loads, completing delivery paperwork, and complying with safety rules. Shift times are Monday to Friday 05:00–06:30 with overtime; early start times may vary.

Qualifications

• Multidrop delivery into London or surrounding areas.
• Managing the delivery process from site to customer with manual pump truck.
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure.
• Completion of delivery paperwork.
• New Pass HGV drivers accepted.
• Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR offences).
• Manual Handling work, double manned.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-drop deliveries in designated routes.
• Handle deliveries with manual pump truck and ensure proper loading.
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately.
• Maintain load security and vehicle safety.
• Adhere to safety and manual handling procedures.

We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 2 drivers to support our client in St. Albans with their global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is a temporary role ongoing however it could turn into permanent role for the successful candidate with immediate start and training will be provided on site.

HGV Class 2 Driver Main duties and requirements are:

• Multidrop delivery into London or surrounding areas
• Managing the delivery process from site to customer with manual pump truck
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure
• Completion of delivery paperwork
• New Pass HGV drivers accepted
• Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR offences)
• Manual Handling work, double manned

HGV Class 2 Driver Shifts:

• Monday to Friday - start time between 05:00 - 06:30 with Overtime available
• Start times subject to change depending on route - flexibility required

HGV Class 2 Driver Hourly pay Rates:

• Pay rate Monday to Friday is £16.46 per hour
• Pay rate Monday to Friday after 8 hours

is £18.29 per hour
