Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for ongoing work in St Albans. The role involves multidrop deliveries, managing the delivery process from site to customer, and ensuring loads are secure. Training is provided on site, with shifts starting early morning and overtime available.

New pass HGV drivers are welcomed. Pay starts at £16.46 per hour from Monday to Friday, with higher rates after 8 hours.

Qualifications

• Max 6 points on driving record, no DD/DR offences.
• New HGV drivers accepted.
• Manual handling required; double manned where applicable.
• Experience with multidrop deliveries and completing delivery paperwork.
• Training provided on site and start immediately.

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR ONGOING CLASS 2 WORK?

We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 2 drivers to support our client in St. Albans with their global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is a temporary role ongoing however it could turn into permanent role for the successful candidate with immediate start and training will be provided on site.

HGV Class 2 Driver Main duties and requirements are:

• Multidrop delivery into London or surrounding areas
• Managing the delivery process from site to customer with manual pump truck
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure
• Completion of delivery paperwork
• New Pass HGV drivers accepted
• Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR offences)
• Manual Handling work, double manned

HGV Class 2 Driver Shifts:

• Monday to Friday - start time between 05:00 - 06:30 with Overtime available
• Start times subject to change depending on route - flexibility required

HGV Class 2 Driver Hourly pay Rates:

• Pay rate Monday to Friday is £16.46 per hour
• Pay rate Monday to Friday after 8 hours
