Job summary

TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to support our busy warehouse and transport stock to our branches. You will perform multi-drop deliveries safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Licence (C) and Driver CPC.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical loading/unloading tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of the HGV to ensure safe handling.
• Conduct quality checks on delivery and obtain customer signatures as proof of receipt.
• Maintain compliance with tachograph legislation and safety regulations.
• Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained, reporting any issues.
• Report accidents or incidents following company procedures.
• Complete daily vehicle inspection sheets and submit to Operations Manager.

Do you hold a valid HGV Class 2 Licence and looking for a new challenge?

Here at TradeChoice Carpet and Flooring we are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to support our busy warehouse helping to transport stock to our branches.

You will be responsible for performing multi-drop deliveries safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• - Oversee the loading and unloading of the HGV to ensure it is conducted correctly and safely.
• - Conduct quality checks upon delivery and obtain customer signatures as proof of receipt.
• - Maintain full compliance with tachograph legislation and relevant safety regulations.
• - Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and free from preventable damage.
• - Report any accidents or incidents immediately, following company procedures.
• - Complete and submit daily vehicle inspection sheets to the Operations Manager.
• - Valid commercial driving licence (C)
• - Valid Driver CPC
• - Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
• - Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
• - Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
