Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for a temporary to permanent role in Radlett, covering London and the UK. Immediate start with on-site training, delivering construction materials and associated products.

You will manage deliveries, secure loads, and complete delivery paperwork, with shifts starting early and overtime opportunities. Paid at £16.50 per hour on weekdays, £24.75 after 8 hours, and £24.75 for Saturday hours, with guaranteed 8 hours pay and ongoing work

Qualifications

• Experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles.
• Reliable and punctual with a can-do attitude.
• License clean—maximum 6 points (no DD/DR offences).

Responsibilities

• Deliver waterproofing, resin flooring, protection products and related materials.
• Manage the delivery process from site to customer with a pump truck.
• Ensure loads are secured and paperwork is completed accurately.
• Maintain safety and load security during transit.

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR TEMP TO PERM CLASS 2 DRIVING WORK?

We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 2 drivers to support our client in Radlett with their distribution of leading construction brands in London and around the UK. This is a temporary to permanent role for the successful candidate with immediate start and training will be provided on site.

HGV Class 2 Driver Main duties and requirements are:

• Delivery of waterproofing, performance resin flooring, passive fire protection, glazing and façades, façades insulation, sealing materials and roofing solutions
• Managing the delivery process from site to customer with manual pump truck
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure
• Completion of delivery paperwork
• Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR offences)

HGV Class 2 Driver Shifts:

• Monday to Friday - 06:00 with Overtime available
• Saturdays occasionally
• Start times subject to change depending on route - flexibility required
• Guaranteed 8 hours pay

HGV Class 2 Driver Hourly pay Rates:

• Pay rate Monday to Friday is £16.50 per hour
• Pay rate Monday to Friday after 8 hoursis £24.75 per hour
• Pay Rate Saturday all hours worked is £24.75 per hour
