Job summary

HG Recruitment is looking for reliable HGV Class 2 drivers to join our Peterborough team. Immediate starts available, with day and night shifts and regular, ongoing work from our established client.

Earn competitive pay with holiday accrual and weekly wages. Overtime rates apply after 40 hours, and bank holidays are paid at enhanced rates; a valid UK HGV Class 2 license, CPC, and Tachograph card are required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points.
• New Pass Drivers Welcome.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time rules.
• Immediate starts available.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop parcel deliveries and collections.
• Early morning starts (00:00–02:00).
• Monday to Saturday with occasional Sunday work.
• Ensure safe, timely deliveries while complying with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.

Pay Rates: Holiday AccruedDays: £14.69 per hour

Nights: £16.16 per hour

Overtime (40+ hours*): £22.04 Days | £24.24 Nights

Super Weekend: £29.38 Days | £32.32 Nights

Bank Holidays: Up to £40.40 per hour*

Basic AWR pay rates apply from Day One.

Overtime rates become applicable after 13 weeks' service.
