Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 drivers for Peterborough with day and night shifts and immediate starts. You will handle multi‑drop deliveries, start early (00:00–02:00) and work Monday to Saturday, with occasional Sundays, ensuring timely deliveries within drivers’ hours rules.

We offer weekly pay, holiday accrual, a pension scheme and 24/7 support from our team. New Pass drivers welcome; competitive pay rates apply.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence required.
• CPC and Tachograph Card required.
• Max 6 penalty points (no DR/IN endorsements).
• New Pass drivers welcome.
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop parcel deliveries and collections.
• Early morning starts (00:00–02:00).
• Monday to Saturday with occasional Sunday work.
• Ensure safe, timely deliveries while complying with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.

Days & Night Shifts available **Immediate starts**

Pay Rates: Holiday Accrued

• Days: £14.69 per hour
• Nights: £16.16 per hour
• Overtime (40+ hours*): £22.04 Days | £24.24 Nights
• Super Weekend: £29.38 Days | £32.32 Nights
• Bank Holidays: Up to £40.40 per hour

*Basic AWR pay rates apply from Day One. Overtime rates become applicable after 13 weeks' service.

The role
