Job summary

Adapt Logistics is looking for Class 2 fridge trailer delivery drivers to operate from Knowsley, Merseyside, delivering chilled goods. Training is provided if you have no fridge trailer experience. This role offers ongoing shifts and a path to permanent employment after a qualifying period.

Shifts run Monday to Friday with early starts around 06:00. Pay is hourly with options for holiday pay accrual. Join a team focused on reliable, safe food distribution.

Qualifications

• Valid C&E driving licence (with min 6 months in C&E work).
• No more than 6 minor points on licence.
• DCPC card (Driver CPC) valid.
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules.
• Enjoy working with people at stores and be Health & Safety aware.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Class 2 fridge box trailer loads from Knowsley, Merseyside.
• Work Monday to Friday with start around 06:00.
• We provide training if fridge trailer experience is lacking.
• Potential progression to a permanent role after a qualifying period.

Class 2 FRIDGE Box Trailer deliveries

Start (06:00) Mon to Fri

Our client specialises in chilled distribution (fridge and frozen) food to distribution trailers. If you have worked a fridge trailer before great, but if not, don't worry they will train you.

For the right driver this could lead to a permanent job after a qualifying number of weeks. Ongoing shifts. Working Monday to Friday

• £16.00 or £17.93 inc hol pay M-F Days
• £17.00 or £19.05 inc hol pay M-F Nights
• £18.00 or £20.17 inc hol pay Sat
• £18.00 or £20.17 inc hol pay Sun / BHol

Here is what the clients' criteria is to work here:-

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (with a min of 6 months in C&E work)
• No more than 6 minor points on Driving licence
• DCPC Valid card for Driver Certificate of professional competence card
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules
• Enjoy working with people at the stores
• Health & Safety awareness

Our drivers can expect Hourly PAYE rates and have the option to accrue holiday pay within their hourly rate or build a holiday pot to be paid when they are on holiday.
