Job summary

Jobsworth is hiring a full-time HGV Class 2 driver based in Cheltenham for night-shift work delivering milk and dairy nationwide. Typical week consists of Monday–Friday, ~48 hours, with 2300–0200 starts. No nights out and loads require securing before delivery.

You’ll need HGV Class 2 experience (Class 1 mentioned in some docs) with CPC and Digi cards, and a clean licence (no more than 6 points). Training on load security provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Requires HGV Class 2 experience or equivalent.
• CPC and Digi tachograph cards required.
• No more than 6 points on license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver milk and dairy products nationwide.
• Distance runs with drop-off and collection of containers at docks.
• Work Monday–Friday; average 48 hours per week; 23:00–02:00 shifts.
• Secure loads and handle unloading as needed; no nights out.

Job description

HGV Class 2 Driver - Night Shifts.

Jobsworth have a new full-time opportunity to join our expansive team of HGV drivers.

Operating out of Cheltenham, the role we have is full-time HGV Class 2 work delivering milk and dairy products nationwide.

You will work Monday - Friday each week & the nature of the work will be distance runs, dropping & collecting containers to & from the docks.
No nights out, no handball.

Salary -£36,519.52

Shifts:Average of 48 hours per week over 5 days / 2300 - 0200 starts /

We would like you to have both previous experience with refrigerated trailers, along with being able to handball and lift goods at delivery points, but its not essential, we are looking for the right drivers with a positive attitude, so as long as you have a good understanding on how to secure the load in the trailer you will be considered for the role.
