Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

We are currently looking for an HGV Class 2 Driver for our client in Leicester. As an HGV Driver, you will provide important support to the business ensuring the safe delivery of chemicals to their customers.

Role Responsibilities

You will report directly to the Transport Manager and will be responsible for:

• Driving large goods vehicles, logging delivery information correctly, and being vigilant of delivery times
• Ensuring compliance with operating licenses and legal requirements
• Maintaining organized paperwork and records
• Load management, including product checks, segregation, and load security
• Conducting safety audits and supporting safety and environmental standards

Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Proven experience as an HGV Driver
• HGV Class 2 license
• Chemical/ADR driver experience/license and ADR qualification
• Current CPC Driver card
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Availability for early starts between 5.30 am and 7.30 am

Desirable Skills

• Chemical bulk discharge experience
