Job summary

Wright Staff Recruitment Ltd in Kidderminster is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver on a temp-to-perm basis. You will perform multi-drop pallet deliveries across the Palletline network and ensure safe loading, unloading, and compliant vehicle checks.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of Class 2 experience, CPC and Tachograph Card. The role offers a Monday–Friday pattern with guaranteed hours and opportunities for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C (Class 2) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year HGV Class 2 multi-drop driving experience.
• Pallet network/Palletline experience is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of driving laws, health & safety and vehicle checks.
• Positive attitude, professional approach and good communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to load/unload goods when required.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to long-term employment.
• Must live within Kidderminster area (or nearby).

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections within Palletline network using a Class 2 vehicle.
• Load and unload goods safely using appropriate equipment.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries with high levels of customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
• Adhere to road laws, drivers hours regulations and company procedures.
• Represent the company professionally at customer premises.

Overview

We are looking for one, and potentially two, motivated and reliable Class 2 Multi-Drop Drivers with a minimum of 1 year\'s Class 2 driving experience to join our well-established and respected client in Kidderminster on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers seeking long-term employment within a busy Palletline operation.

Applicants should live within a reasonable commuting distance of Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Stourbridge or Cleobury Mortimer.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections within the Palletline network using a Class 2 curtan-side vehicle.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment where required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining high levels of customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
• Adhere to all road traffic laws, drivers\' hours regulations and company procedures.
• Represent the company professionally at customer premises.
