Job summary

Driver Hire Lancaster are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to assist our client in the Kendal area. They are a family business looking for occasional support with collections and deliveries. This role suits someone semi-retired due to the hours.

The work involves tail lift collections and deliveries with start times between 0400 and 0800 depending on the run. You will join a friendly, supportive team and enjoy flexible work with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Class 2 driving experience and must be referenceable.
• Comfortable with rural routes and farm collections.
• Licence: no more than 6 points and no major endorsements (DD, DR, IN).

Responsibilities

• Tail lift collections and deliveries.
• Start times between 0400 and 0800 depending on the run.
• Join a friendly, family-run local company and provide occasional support.

The Driver:

• No more than 6 points (and no major endorsements - DD, DR, IN etc)
