Job summary

Hereford-based HGV Class 2 Driver role offers a flexible schedule with Monday to Friday starts around 07:00. Full and part-time temporary positions are available, with temp-to-perm prospects.

You will drive a Class 2 vehicle, completing up to twelve drops per shift, and assist with offloading using a tail lift. This position requires a valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence and a professional approach to deliveries.

• Max 9 points for minor offences.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual handling.

Job description

The HGV Class 2 Driver role in Hereford offers a flexible schedule with Monday to Friday starts around 07:00. Full and part-time temporary positions are available, paying between £14.94 and £16.74 per hour, with a temp-to-perm option for suitable candidates. You will drive a Class 2 vehicle, completing up to twelve drops per shift, and assist with offloading using a tail lift. Immediate starts are open to both experienced and newly qualified drivers. This position requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence and a professional approach to deliveries. Further details will be provided upon onboarding with Pertemps.

Your Duties

• Happy to drive Class 2 vehicle as needed.
• Normally two to twelve drops maximum
• You will need to give some assistance with offloading by using a tail lift
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately

Requirements
