The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Grays area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, including day and night shifts.

Pay Rate:

• Days: £14.76 per hour PAYE
• Nights: £15.92 per hour PAYE

Job Type: Ongoing, with an opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

The role includes:

• Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance.
• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
• Handling runs with 4-5 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Assisting with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
• Interacting professionally and courteously with customers, representing the company.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Willing to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
