Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

Challenge-trg Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a HGV Class 2 Driver for our client based in Chelmsford.

We are hiring for Monday to Friday shift patterns focused on telephone communication deliveries.

Job Role

This role involves telephone communication deliveries to remote sites and stores. You will be required to use a handheld scanning terminal to scan labels on cages, pallets, etc. Training will be provided. There will be significant manual handling of most items, including pallets and boxes.

There will be a full day's assessment that you are required to attend.

Class 2 rates:

What the HGV Class 2 driver can expect:

• Weekly pay
• Guaranteed minimum shift payment of 7.5 hours
• Hourly pay
• 24-hour assistance from the night operation team

Requirements

• A full Class 2 HGV Licence held for a minimum of 2 years
• A valid Drivers CPC Card
• A digital tachograph card
• A full understanding of WTD legislation
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping
• Flexible with start times and working days
