Job summary

Backline Logistics Plymouth is seeking HGV Class 2/C category dustcart drivers for an immediate start in Tavistock, Devon. Full-time, Monday to Friday, 07:00 starts, with paid overtime after 9 hours and a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week.

Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply; temp-to-perm opportunities available for the right candidate. Training opportunities include CPC and upskilling with HIAB/ADR/Forklift. Pay is hourly PAYE with additional overtime.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 / Category C Licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Current CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Broad knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
• Be clean and professional at all times.
• Good written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive rear-end loaders and assist with loading recycling bins as required.
• Drive Romaquip Recycling vehicles when needed.
• Shifts are Monday to Friday, 07:00 start until finish; paid for a minimum of 9 hours per day; enhanced overtime after 9 hours.

Backline Logistics Plymouth are seeking HGV Class 2/ Category C Dustcart Drivers for an immediate start for an environmental services company in Tavistock, Devon. This role is full time and ongoing.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00am until finish paid at £ per hour, overtime is paid at £ after 9 hours daily. There is plenty of overtime available.

Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.

There are temp to perm opportunities available for the right candidate.

About This role:

• Main duties include driving rear-end loaders and assisting with loading recycling bins when required and/or driving Romaquip Recycling vehicles.
• Usual shifts are Monday to Friday, starting from 07:00am until finish.
• You will be paid for a minimum of 9 hours per day, starting at £ per hour PAYE. Enhanced overtime rate is paid after 9 hours.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• You must hold a full UK Class 2 / Category C Licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
• You must hold a current and valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Possess a broad knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
• Be clean and professional at all times.
• Possess good written and spoken communication skills.
