Job Title: Highways Lighting Operative
Base Location: Wellington, Somerset (TA21)
Salary: £28,091 depending on skills and experience and working hours -plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Full-time (37 hours per week). The role includes the option of participation in a standby rota to support reactive maintenance requirements, with standby payments provided along with enhanced hourly rates and/or TOIL for any call-outs attended.
Due to the nature of our National Highways contracts, this role offers variety across the South West and may involve occasional planned night working and overnight stays, with plenty of notice and full accommodation and expenses provided when required.

We are looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver (ideally with HIAB experience) to join our team at our Somerset depot.
The depot supports a wide range of contracts, including ongoing maintenance, new developments, and a large-scale National Highways South West Framework Agreement. This means you'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects, develop your skills, and gain additional industry qualifications to support your career progression.
