Job summary

KPI Recruiting are looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver for our client based in Aylesford. The role offers ad-hoc or shift work, with morning, afternoon or night slots and overtime opportunities. Pay is £16.36 per hour (PAYE), with enhanced rates for night shifts (£17.49).

Typical duties include loading and unloading at depots across the country and handling handball where required. Ongoing and temp-to-perm opportunities exist, with weekly pay and use of state-of-the-art vehicles.

Qualifications

• All up to date driving licence, CPC and Digi along with HIAB licence.
• No IN, DD, DR endorsements on licence.
• Hi vis and safety boots.

Responsibilities

• Drive the HGV Class 2 vehicle across the country to depots across the UK.
• Load and unload when needed (handball may be involved).

Our client is a leading provider in the delivery industry within the UK, with state-of-the-art vehicles and services provided! Our client is looking to add to their pool of HGV Class 1 drivers as they continue to grow and expand their team.

Job description for a HGV Class 2 Driver:

• ADHOC or Shift work available
• Morning, Afternoon or Night Shift
• £16.36 per hour
• Ongoing and temp to perm opportunities
• Average of an 8 hour day
• Year-round positions
• Opportunity for overtime
• Drivers’ benefits include - weekly pay, additional shifts within KPI driving contacts available, use of state-of-the-art vehicles.

Your role will include driving the HGV Class 2 vehicle across the country, delivering to different Depots across the UK. you will be required to load and unload when needed so handball can be involved.

Rates for a HGV Class 2 Driver (PAYE) –

• £16.36 per hour days
• £17.49 per hour nights

The ideal candidate for a HGV Class 2 Driver will need the following:

• All up to date driving licence, CPC and Digi along with HIAB licence
• No IN, DD, DR endorsements on licence
• Hi vis and safety boots
