Job summary

Kinaxia Logistics is seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers to join the Colchester team. The role offers Monday to Friday days with a pay rate of £15.75 per hour and includes life assurance, pension and uniform provision. The successful candidate will perform daily vehicle checks, maintain safety standards, and ensure on-time deliveries while adhering to the Highway Code and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C (Class 2) licence.
• Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
• Digital tachograph card.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, professional and positive approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
• Arrive on time and inform traffic office of any issues.
• Follow company procedures, customer requirements and the Highway Code.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled.
• Comply with EU tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Keep vehicle clean, tidy and well maintained.

Your Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you'll play a vital role in ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is safe and roadworthy
• Arriving on time and keeping the traffic office informed of any issues
• Following company procedures, customer requirements and the Highway Code
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
• Completing deliveries and collections as scheduled
