Job summary

Kinaxia Derby is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to join the team. Roles run Monday to Friday, about 48 hours per week, at £14.52 per hour, NG11 6AE area. Opportunities for CPC training, full uniform and PPE, onsite parking, and a range of employee benefits are provided.

Drivers will handle deliveries and collections, perform daily vehicle checks, and adhere to safety standards and tachograph regulations. Valid LGV C (Class 2) licence, Driver CPC, and Tachograph Card required.

Qualifications

• Full LGV C (Class 2) licence required.
• Driver Qualification Card (CPC) required.
• Digital Tachograph Card must be held.
• Good communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive both Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles.
• Complete daily vehicle checks for roadworthiness and safety.
• Arrive on time and notify traffic office of issues.
• Follow company, customer procedures and Highway Code.
• Maintain health and safety standards.
• Complete deliveries and collections as manifested.
• Comply with EU tachograph and WTD regulations.
• Keep vehicle clean and tidy.

About The Job

• Driving both Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles
• Ensure you complete daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use
• Ensure you arrive at your job on time, informing the traffic office of any issues
• Follow all company procedures, customer procedures and the Highway Code
• Maintain all health and safety standards
• Complete all deliveries and collections as manifested
• Comply with all EU tachograph and WTD regulations
• Ensure your vehicle is kept clean and tidy

Your Knowledge And Experience

• To hold a full LGV C (Class 2) licence
• To have a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/Driver CPC
• To own a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication skills
