Job description

Driver Hire Colchester is looking for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for full time roles.

If you have experience in lorry driving and are looking for ongoing, full-time HGV work in the surrounding areas of Colchester, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Job Details:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle locally and to London.


• Monday - Friday (Day Shift): £16.50 - 18.00 per hour*


• Flexible weekday, including morning and mid-day starts and weekend shifts available.


• Must be physically fit as this HGV driver role entails lifting, strapping loads, moving cages etc..


• Full Training & Induction Provided


• Will accept new HGV passes.


• This could lead to a full-time, permanent position.

Weekly PAYE pay, including pension contributions.
Guaranteed minimum 10 hours' pay per day

Requirements:

• Physically fit - role involves manual handling.


• Comfortable driving into London in HGV Class 2 vehicle.


• Valid Category C (Class 2) licence. Up-to-date CPC & Digital Tachograph cards.


• Maximum of 6 points on licence (no DR, DD, or IN convictions).


• Own transport essential due to varied locations and early starts.

*Please note: Pay rates include holiday pay at 12.07%.

We have found HGV drivers, lorry drivers, class 1 drivers, and class 2 drivers to be successful in this role.
