Responsibilities

• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries to customers.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliableClass 2 Driverto join our clients team on atemp-to-perm basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver looking for stable, Monday-to-Friday work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday:7:30am 4:30pm
• Friday:6:30am 3:30pm
• Monday to Friday No weekend work

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying outmulti-drop deliveriesto customers, ensuring goods are delivered safely, accurately and on time. You will also be expected to provide a professional and friendly service when dealing with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
• Completing multi-drop deliveries according to the daily schedule.
• Ensuring all deliveries are accurate and goods arrive in good condition.
• Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records.
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery.
• Acting as a professional representative of the company when dealing with customers.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks.
• Keeping the delivery vehicle clean and presentable.
• Reporting any vehicle faults, delivery issues or quality concerns to management.
• Supporting the warehouse team occasionally when required by the business.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Previousmulti-drop delivery experienceis preferred.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and delivery routes.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good time-management and organisational skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable with loading and unloading goods.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Able to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule.
• Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Working Environment

The majority of your working day will be spentout on the road completing deliveries. However, on occasions, you may be required to spend a day working within the warehouse depending on business requirements.
