Job summary

M4 Talent Group - South East Hub is seeking reliable HGV 2 Drivers for a busy customer delivery operation based in Yate, near Bath. This temp-to-perm role focuses on safe, timely deliveries and excellent customer service.

Typical hours are Mon-Fri with a competitive rate of £17.00 per hour, and a temp-to-perm path offering £18 per hour once permanent. Join a supportive team with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full UK HGV 2 driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• In date CPC & Tachograph cards.
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company HGV 2 vehicle to deliver goods to customers.
• Work as part of a 2 person crew.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Carry out manual handling tasks safely.
• Ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and on time.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report issues.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking HGV 2 Drivers to join our team of drivers for a busy customer delivery operation based in Yate on a temporary to permanent basis. This role involves the safe and timely delivery of goods while providing excellent customer service.

Temp to perm opportunity available for suitable candidates

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving a company HGV 2 vehicle to deliver goods to customers
• Working as part of a 2 man crew
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Carrying out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and on time
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any issues
• Completing delivery paperwork and records accurately

Requirements:

• Full UK HGV 2 driving license (no more than 6 points)
• In date CPC & TACHO Cards
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Strong work ethic and reliability
