Job summary

Evo Personnel are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) for a client in the Burnley area. The role involves safe delivery and collection of goods with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

You will hold a full UK Category C license, valid Driver CPC, and a tachograph card, and you will perform daily vehicle safety checks and complete delivery paperwork accurately. Monday–Friday shifts and overtime opportunities apply.

Qualifications

Evo Personnel are acting as an employment agency, and we are looking to recruit an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) Driver for our prestigious client in the Burnley area.

Salary & Package

Salary £30,225.00.

Overtime.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Experience Required

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience driving a Class 2.
• Complete deliveries and collections to client sites.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Able to complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and all relevant transport legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable and positive attitude with a strong commitment to safety is required.
• Hands‑on in the operation and able to be flexible towards completing deliveries.

This role is suited for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver who is hands‑on, flexible around working hours and able to complete deliveries to a high standard.

You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of goods, ensuring high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service at all times.
