Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is helping a leading food distribution client in Bicester,OX26 to recruit an HGV Class 2 Driver. You will transport chilled and frozen goods to shops and RDCs, handling up to 20+ kg as required.

Start times vary in this 24/7 operation (typically 03:00–06:00), with weekend shifts. PAYE rate is £19 per hour and umbrella rate £23.60 per hour; induction is included and holiday accrual applies.

Qualifications

• UK HGV C (Class 2) drivers license held for a minimum of 1+ years.
• In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliable and with a positive work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Transport chilled and frozen foods to shops and RDCs.
• Carry 20+ kg as part of manual handling.
• Work a 24/7 operation with start times between 03:00–06:00, including weekends.

Salary

PAYE

HGV Class 2 Driver-£19 per hour.

Umbrella*

HGV Class 2 Driver-£23.60 per hour.

*Must be registered through one of our approved Umbrella companies.

All Flat Rate.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to work with an established food distribution client based in Bicester! Your role as a Class 2 Driver would be transporting chilled and frozen foods to shops and RDC’s! This includes manual handling, so the ideal candidate needs to be physically fit and able to carry 20+KG’s.

Start times vary as they are a 24/7 operation, with start times usually raging between 03:00 to 06:00, including weekend shifts.
