Job summary

STARK Building Materials UK (Jewson Berwick) is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our delivery team. You will safely deliver building materials to customers, load and unload, use the vehicle-mounted crane, and support colleagues as needed.

We provide a fully funded induction at our training academy and ALLMI crane licence, with social hours 07:30–17:00 and alternate Saturdays. Multidrop experience is handy but not essential.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence (Category C) is required.
• CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card are required.
• Multidrop experience is handy but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customers safely and professionally.
• Load and unload materials from the vehicle.
• Operate the vehicle-mounted crane to assist deliveries.
• Support team members as needed during deliveries.

What to expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
