Job summary

Booker is seeking local delivery drivers to join our branch team in the UK. You will drive locally, build relationships with regular customers and ensure timely deliveries with great service.

As a driver, you will load stock, unload at customer premises, complete paperwork accurately and work a 7-day pattern which may include weekends. A Cat C / 18T licence and at least two years' driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• Cat C / 18T Licence required.
• At least two years' driving experience.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Make sure customers' shelves are stocked and deliveries arrive on time.
• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Complete paperwork accurately for deliveries.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This is a 7 day operation, our shift patterns may include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

Cat C / 18T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
