Job summary

Booker is hiring drivers for a local delivery role across a 7-day operation. You will drive locally, build relationships with regular customers, and be part of a delivery team ensuring on-time, high-quality service.

Fully funded CPC training hours are provided, with overtime opportunities. The role includes loading/unloading, paperwork compliance, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T Licence / Class 2.
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years).
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the Branch.
• Unload at the customer premises.
• Ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

CatC / 18T Licence / Class 2

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
