Job summary

Harper & Guy Consulting Ltd. is recruiting an HGV Class 2 driver for the Barnsley area. You will work across various shifts, with start times between 00:00 and 01:00, delivering for EVRi at their distribution centre.

The role offers day and night rates, a robust weekly hours pattern, and potential for ongoing, secure employment. You will be supported by a team and have access to on-site training and driver support tools.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence required.
• Minimum 3 months experience as a driver.
• Max 6 points on licence.
• Knowledge of WTD and Drivers Hours regulations.

WORK PATTERN:Various flexible shift patterns available - start times 00:00 - 01:00
RATE OF PAY:Days - £14.70 per hour / Nights - £16.17 per hour (all rates inclusive of holiday pay)

working with our client EVRi at their distribution centre.

DUTIES:

• Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
• Collections and depot to depot delivery

• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift with planned Average 10 hours shift
• Flexible shifts times to suit availability with consistent regular ongoing work and job security

Requirements:

• HGV Class2licence minimum3 months
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
• Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Drivers Hours)
• Good national geographical awareness
• Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised
• Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service
• Must havegood communicationskills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.
