Job summary

HARPER & GUY CONSULTING LTD in Brighton is seeking a Professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join the team on days shifts. You will perform multi‑drop deliveries, load and unload, and maintain accurate paperwork while following route schedules and legal requirements.

The role requires valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, and strong customer service skills. Ongoing 45 hour weeks with day shifts and 24/7 availability for support.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience (FMCG or cash & carry desirable).
• Good knowledge of local road networks.
• Physically fit for manual handling.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to retail, hospitality and business customers.
• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle in line with road and safety regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Load and unload goods, often involving manual handling.
• Ensure all deliveries are accurate and supported by correct paperwork.
• Follow planned routes and delivery schedules.
• Adhere to driving laws, working time directives and tachograph regulations.

Days :

• £17.83 per hour (PAYE) | £19.98 (Rolled Up) - first 45 hours
• £26.75 per hour (PAYE) | £29.97 (Rolled Up) - after 45 hours in one week

Estimated weekly pay based on 45 hours £802.35

Expected annual earnings £41,722.20 PAYE

DUTIES:
