Job summary

MGF Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our national transport fleet based near Tring. You will deliver and collect hire equipment to customer sites and depots, maintaining high safety and customer service standards.

The role offers guaranteed hours, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with overtime possibilities and a pension scheme. Drivers CPC and CSCS/Banksman training are advantageous, with career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 Licence is essential.
• Driver CPC is required for driving in the UK.
• Experience delivering/collecting equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect hire equipment on time, safely and efficiently.
• Keep the wagon clean and perform daily safety checks.
• Assist in loading and unloading of Company vehicles.

We specialise in designing, manufacturing, hiring and selling temporary works solutions. At MGF, we manufacture our equipment, operate our own transport fleet and have an in-house engineering team who produce design solutions to meet customers’ requirements.

With 13 depots nationwide and over 450 passionate members of our team, we're expanding. Each team member plays a crucial role in this success, and we need your help as a HGV Class2 Driver to continue delivering exceptional results.

Your Role:

As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you'll play a crucial part in our operations. You'll be responsible for delivering and collecting our equipment from customer sites and our depots.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

• Delivering and collecting hire equipment on time, safely and efficiently
• Addressing customer needs during deliveries and collections
• Keeping the wagon clean and performing daily safety checks
• Assisting in the loading and unloading of Company vehicles

To Achieve This, You Will Need:

• HGV Class 2 Licence
• At least 2 years of recent HGV driving experience
• Driver CPC
• Experience in delivering/collecting heavy goods to construction sites
• (Desirable) CSCS Card and Banksman Slinger training
