Job summary

Zoom Recruitment in Aston Clinton (HP22) is seeking a hands-on Class 2 HGV Driver for a permanent role. You will unload stock and support Driver’s Mates on local and regional deliveries, with 40 hours per week mainly Monday–Friday and early starts around 5am.

The role requires a valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence and Driver CPC, with a focus on safety, reliability and customer service. Competitive benefits are included.

This is not a desk job — you’ll be unloading stock, supporting Driver’s Mates, and making deliveries on local and regional routes. If you’re a driver who likes being active, this is the role for you.

The Role as a HGV Class 2 Driver:

• Drive Class 2 vehicles (up to 26 tonnes)
• Complete dray deliveries involving manual handling and heavy lifting
• Assist Driver’s Mates with unloading where needed
• Deliver safely, efficiently, and professionally
• Use local knowledge to plan routes and hit deadlines
• Follow all health & safety regulations

Working Hours as a Class 2 Driver

• 40 hours per week / over time paid after 40 hours worked at time and a half
• Monday–Friday
• 5am starts
