Job summary

QS Recruitment in the UK is seeking a HGV Class 2 driver for a Coalville-based role with a food and drinks wholesaler. You will operate a 15T vehicle from the Coalville RDC, completing multi-drop deliveries of caged goods across Leicestershire, with an immediate start and a clear path to permanent employment.

This full-time temp-to-perm position is Monday to Friday, 6:00am starts. PAYE hourly rate is £16.30; holiday pay accrues up to 28 days per year pro rata.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with Cat C entitlement.
• Valid Digi Tacho and CPC cards.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Available for an immediate start.

Job Description

HGV 2 – DELIVERY OF CAGED GOODS – COALVILLE BASE – IMMEDIATE START.
You will be working for a food and drinks wholesaler, driving a 15T vehicle from the Coalville RDC and completing multi-drop deliveries of caged goods across Leicestershire.
This is a full-time driving role with the opportunity to move into a permanent position. The role can be physically demanding and involves heavy lifting, so a good level of fitness is required. You will also be customer-facing, so good communication and customer service skills are essential.

Duration: TEMP TO PERM OPPORTUNTIY WITH AN IMMEDIATE START DATE.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You will earn £16.30 per hour PAYEHoliday pay is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.

Working Hours: Working Monday to Friday, starting at 6:00am.
