Job summary

Pure Staff are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Day Driver to work on a Newport-based daytime route delivering palletised goods across your designated area. This is a reliable, ongoing day-shift role with competitive pay and a supportive team.

Expect to complete 3–12 drops per shift with start times typically between 05:00 and 08:00, and shifts lasting 10–12 hours. A valid Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, Tachograph card, and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Cat C) Licence is required.
• Driver CPC Qualification needed.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points; TT/TS/MS/DR not present.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods safely.
• Carry out 3–12 deliveries per shift.
• Use a pump truck to assist deliveries as needed.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects.
