Full route planning and vehicle familiarisation is provided.

Location: Various areas in Devon

Temporary contract Seasonal winter maintenance weather dependant (October to April).

Hourly rate: £17.00 - £25.50 per hour depending on days/nights

Weekly standby payment: £245

Overview

Paramount Personnel are looking for fully trained winter maintenance HGV 2 drivers to assist with our client’s winter maintenance programme.

Responsibilities

• Operate an HGV vehicle safely.
• Complete pre‑use vehicle checks.
• Accurately complete spreading rates.
• Complete documentation on routes and usage.
• Cover unsociable hours on a rota basis, possibly more than one route per day including weekends.

Qualifications

• Full Class C driver’s licence.
• Relevant experience in winter maintenance driving.
• Ability to handle unsociable hours and multi‑route days.
