Job summary

The Best Connection is currently recruiting HGV Class 2 (C) Drivers for ongoing opportunities across their UK network. This temp-to-perm role offers regular shifts, on-site work, and potential long-term career prospects within a leading logistics provider.

You will operate pre-loaded vehicles, move trailers, couple/uncouple safely, ensure loads are secured, and follow site traffic management. A valid HGV Class 2 licence, reliability, and good knowledge of UK drivers' hours are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Commitment to shifts/rotas.
• Ability to work safely alone and with a team.
• Time management and punctuality.
• A good understanding of UK drivers' hours.

Responsibilities

• Pre-loaded vehicles.
• Moving trailers between loading bays and parking areas.
• Coupling and uncoupling trailers safely.
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure including strapping down loads.
• Following site traffic management.
• Vehicle checks.

ongoing opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects. Temp to perm opportunities are available for the right drivers.

About the Role

HGV Class 2 (C) Drivers - Main duties and requirements are:

• Pre-loaded vehicles
• Moving trailers between loading bays and parking areas
• Coupling and uncoupling trailers safely
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure including strapping down loads
• Following site traffic management
• Maximum 6 points accepted (No DD/ DR / CD / IN10 offences)
• Vehicle checks

Working Hours

• Minimum 8-hour shifts
• Weekdays only
