Job summary

Pertemps Bond is hiring for an HGV Class 2 ADR Cylinder Driver in Thame, Oxfordshire. This permanent, full-time role offers a basic salary from £46,123 rising to £57,653 based on length of service, with 46 hours per week and Monday–Friday shifts.

Responsibilities include multi-drop deliveries, vehicle safety, and possible use of forklifts or cranes with full training provided. Weekend allowances may apply.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence with multi-drop experience.
• ADR Class 2 in packages is desirable.
• Driver CPC is required.
• Excellent customer service and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to strict Health & Safety operations as directed by the client.
• Multi dropping approximately 15-20 drops per day delivering gas cylinders to customers.
• Ensuring the road worthiness, safekeeping and cleanliness of the vehicle allocated.
• Operate specialist equipment such as forklift trucks and cranes to load and unload vehicles (full training provided).
• Using safe manual handling techniques when delivering and collecting cylinders to and from customer sites.

HGV Class 2 ADR Cylinder Driver

Pertemps have an exciting opportunity for HGV Class 2 ADR Cylinder Drivers to work for one of the most prestigious Gas companies in the UK.

Location: Thame, Oxfordshire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00-07:00 start times, 46hrs per wk

Contract: Permanent

Pay: £46,123 pa basic salary rising to £57,653 (based on Length of service)

Breaks: Paid

Responsibilities

• Adhering to strict Health & Safety operations as directed by the client
• Multi dropping approximately 15-20 drops per day delivering gas cylinders to customers
• Ensuring the road worthiness, safekeeping and cleanliness of vehicle allocated
• Where necessary, operate specialist equipment such as forklift trucks and cranes to load and unload vehicles (full training provided)
• Using safe manual handling techniques when delivering and collecting cylinders to and from customer sites
• Licence endorsements - Max 6 Points, minor offences only no CU80s
• A driver CPC is required
• ADR (Class 2 in packages)
• Excellent customer service
• Knowledge of Defensive driving and Driver Regulations, including HSA regulations
• Ability to interact with internal and external customers
• Having a high level of personal integrity suits to your profile
• Undertake a basic DBS check along with a Drug & Alcohol / medical test
