Pertemps Banbury is recruiting for a permanent HGV Class 2 ADR Cylinder Driver based in Thame, Oxfordshire. The role covers 46 hours per week with starts around 06:00–07:00, and involves multi-drop deliveries (roughly 15–20 drops daily) of gas cylinders while following strict health and safety procedures.

The package features a basic salary of £46,123, rising to £57,653 with length of service, plus paid breaks.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence required.
• ADR certification required.
• Strong knowledge of safe handling practices.
• Driver CPC is required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to strict Health & Safety operations as directed by the client.
• Multi-drop approximately 15–20 drops per day delivering gas cylinders to customers.
• Ensure road worthiness and cleanliness of allocated vehicle.
• Operate forklift trucks and cranes for loading/unloading where required (full training provided).
• Use safe manual handling techniques when delivering and collecting cylinders to and from customer sites.
