Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for a Welham Green based client to support busy delivery operations.

You will handle single manned deliveries to clients, manage delivery paperwork, perform vehicle checks, and ensure loads are secure with early starts around 04:00–05:00 and a guaranteed 8 hours per day.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months HGV driving experience
• Clean licence with no points or offences

Job description

Our client based in Welham Green, is looking to strengthen its busy delivery team. They are looking for Class 2 drivers to help assist the operational needs of the business delivering glass. Minimum HGV driving experience required is 12 months and clean licence with no points or offences.

HGV Class 2 - Main duties will include:

• Positive manner as delivering to clients and customers
• Products delivered could be single and double glazed glass

HGV Class 2 - Shifts:

• Start times could be 04:00am or 05:00am
• Monday to Friday

HGV Class 2 - Hourly pay Rates:

• Pay rate is £17.00/per hour
• Minimum of 8 hours paid guaranteedper day
