Job summary

Solvit Recruitment is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a parcel company in Leicestershire. This full-time role offers a stable daily route with 8 deliveries in the morning and 8 collections in the afternoon, operating a curtainsider truck loaded/unloaded via FLT.

Uniform provided on completion of training; you will work Monday to Friday 08:00–17:30 with optional Saturday shifts paid at £16.50 per hour. Benefits include 28 days holiday, weekly pay, onsite parking and a pension.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence and no bans in last 5 years.
• Excellent oral and written communication with business customers.

Responsibilities

• Make an average of 8 deliveries in the morning and 8 collections in the afternoon.
• Work on a daily route within Leicestershire; curtainsider truck; loading/unloading via FLT.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all traffic laws and company procedures.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain delivery records.
• Adhere to insurance age requirements (25+).

Solvit Recruitment are looking for an HGV Class 2 Driver.

You will spend your first 4 weeks through Solvit Recruitment, weekly pay.

Solvit recruitment is currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to work with a Parcel company who value their team and have an excellent reputation, who are currently looking for their next HGV Class 2 Driver.

Uniform will be provided when full time.

You will average 8 deliveries in the morning and 8 collections in the afternoon within the Leicestershire area; you will have your own daily route, the truck is a curtainsider, you will be loaded and off loaded via FLT.

You will be dealing with business customers so it is essential that you have excellent communication skills oral and written, have a professional attitude and build relationship with your customers.

You will have minimum 6 months HGV Class 2 Driving experience; you will have no more than 6 points and not served a ban in the last 5 years.

This will be Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30

Saturdays availaible 06:00 - 14:00 paid at £16.50 per hour.

43.75 hours per week.

Rate of Pay.

Monday to Friday £16.00 per hour.

Saturday £16.50.
Yearly from £36.400

• No DR, DD, TT, IN and not served any bans in the last 5 years.
