Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd in the UK is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing temporary work on regional and national trunking routes. Depot-to-depot deliveries are common, with forklift handling of loading/unloading.

Expect a Monday–Friday pattern with a 06:00–17:00 window and approximately 55 hours per week. The role requires a full UK Driving Licence with CE, a valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC Card, with at least 12 months Class 1 experience.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with CE entitlement.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Valid Driver CPC card.
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than six penalty points; no DR/DD/IN/CU/MS convictions.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods safely between depots on regional and national routes.
• Complete journeys efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
• Ensure vehicle is roadworthy and comply with driving regs and RTWTR.
• Operate forklift-enabled loading/unloading; no handballing required.
