Job summary

SynergyX Freight in Liverpool is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Tramping Drivers. You will drive long-haul routes across the UK, often overnight, with bay-to-bay deliveries and no heavy lifting. You’ll operate a modern fleet, plan journeys, and follow road safety rules.

We offer a competitive yearly salary, a pension scheme, and ongoing training. The role is based in Liverpool with five consecutive tramping shifts Sun-Fri and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Full UK C+E license (Class 1) is required.
• Clean license preferred; up to 6 points accepted with no serious endorsements.
• Fluency in English is preferred; knowledge of UK road rules is beneficial.
• Right to work in the UK and ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Long-haul driving across the UK with overnight stays.
• Bay-to-bay deliveries with no manual handling; drop-and-go.
• Operate a modern fleet and plan journeys with basic navigation.
• Adhere to driving hours, rest breaks, and safety policies.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report issues promptly.
