Job summary

James Kemball, part of the Uniserve Group, is seeking a qualified HGV Class 1 Tramper/day driver to join the team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of containers across the UK.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 C+E HGV licence with an in‑date DQC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• RHIDES Card is advantageous.
• Safe driving with adherence to Driver Hours and Tachographs.

About You:

• Hold a valid Class 1 C+E HGV licence, along with an in‑date DQC and Digital Tachograph Card

• RHIDES Card advantageous

• Safety‑focused driver with a clean licence and strong adherence to driving regulations (Driver Hours, Tachographs, etc.). In some cases, up to 6 points may be considered

• Good working knowledge of skeletal trailers and container handling

• Strong understanding of safe working practices and manual handling procedures

• Clear and confident communication skills

• Collaborative approach with a positive, proactive attitude
