Job summary

Kinaxia Colchester is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for delivering goods safely, efficiently and on time, with a strong focus on road safety and compliance with drivers' hours rules.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C+E licence required.
• Driver CPC/DQC valid for operating as a tramper driver.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Strong communication skills and reliable responsiveness.
• Positive attitude and commitment to safe, on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
• Complete deliveries and collections in line with manifests and schedules.
• Communicate with traffic office and report delays promptly.
• Follow company policies, customer requirements and Highway Code.
• Maintain high health and safety standards and tachograph compliance.
• Keep vehicle clean, tidy and presentable.

Responsibilities

As an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle remains safe and roadworthy
• Completing deliveries and collections in line with manifests and schedules
• Communicating effectively with the traffic office and reporting any delays or issues promptly
• Following all company policies, customer requirements, and Highway Code regulations
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
• Complying with EU Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations
• Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy, and presentable

What You’ll Need

To Be Successful In This Role, You’ll Have
