Job summary

Kinaxia Colchester is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join our growing team in Colchester. You’ll deliver and collect goods, maintain safety standards, and represent the company in a professional manner.

The role requires daily vehicle checks, timely deliveries, and compliance with drivers’ hours and tachograph rules. We offer life assurance, pension, uniform, parking and ongoing career opportunities for motivated drivers.

Qualifications

• A valid LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence.
• A valid Driver CPC / DQC.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle remains safe and roadworthy.
• Completing deliveries and collections in line with manifests and schedules.
• Communicating effectively with the traffic office and reporting any delays or issues promptly.
• Following all company policies, customer requirements, and Highway Code regulations.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Complying with EU Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations.
• Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy, and presentable.

The Role

Responsibilities

As an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. Your responsibilities will include:
