Job summary

Kinaxia Colchester is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join our growing team. If you're a reliable driver who takes pride in delivering excellent service and maintaining high safety standards, we'd love to hear from you.

As an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods on time, performing daily vehicle checks, and communicating with the traffic office to report delays or issues promptly.

Qualifications

• LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence is required.
• Driver CPC / DQC required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
• Complete deliveries and collections in line with manifests and schedules.
• Communicate with the traffic office and report delays or issues promptly.
• Follow company policies, customer requirements and Highway Code regulations.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Comply with EU Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations.
• Keep your vehicle clean, tidy and presentable.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle remains safe and roadworthy
• Completing deliveries and collections in line with manifests and schedules
• Communicating effectively with the traffic office and reporting any delays or issues promptly
• Following all company policies, customer requirements, and Highway Code regulations
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
• Complying with EU Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations
• Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy, and presentable

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you'll have:
