Job summary

GRS in Luton is seeking a self-motivated HGV driver to join our energetic team. You will operate LGV/HGV vehicles to deliver goods safely and maintain the company’s assets, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

We offer 45 hours per week with overtime when available, 23 days' paid holiday plus bank holidays, a company pension, annual health assessment, full training, uniform provided, and a supportive close-knit team to help you develop professionally.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as a HGV Class 1 Driver.
• Experience with tipper bodies preferred.
• MPQC/ MP Connect card required.
• Drivers CPC Card held.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV/HGV vehicles to deliver goods safely and efficiently.
• Check vehicle at start of day and log condition; report faults.
• Maintain vehicle load security and weights within limits.
• Complete reports and documentation on time.
• Represent the company professionally to customers.
• Assist in yard tasks when not driving.
