The Results People are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Shunter/Tug Drivers for a well-established client in Smethwick. This is a full-time role with guaranteed shifts and consistent work, offering daytime and night shifts.

You will safely move trailers and yard tug units, and you must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence with CPC and Tachograph card, plus a minimum of 12 months’ experience. Shunting experience is essential, with no more than 6 points on your licence.

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor endorsements only).

This is a full time opportunity with guaranteed shifts and consistent work.

Duties:

• Safely moving trailers and yard tug units

Shift times: 07:00-15:00 OR 18:00-03:00

Pay rates PAYE:

• DAYS £18.26ph (£20.46ph including holiday pay)
• NIGHTS £19.50ph (£21.85ph including holiday pay)

Requirements:

• Assessment required before starting.
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 12 months of experience as a Class 1 driver (shunting experience essential)
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor endorsements only).
