Job Description:

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Enfield area. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver (CAT C+E) to join the team on nights.

Job Type : Long term ongoing role.

The role:

• Operating Class 1 vehicles to move trailers within the yard.
• Manoeuvring trailers in tight spaces with accuracy.
• Ensuring the safe transportation of trailers according to company standards.
• Available for Monday to Friday shifts starting at 11pm, finishing Tuesday morning, and 11pm Friday, finishing Saturday morning.
• Willingness to occasionally stay late for tipping trailers.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
• Have at least 1 year of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Reliability is a key requirement for this position.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Discounts at hundreds of high-street stores and supermarkets.
